One potential reason why an iPhone flagship may become unresponsive is due to a shrinking memory. This can happen when a lot of data and/or apps are stored on the device.

Over time, this can cause the device to slow down and eventually become unresponsive. Another potential reason for an iPhone to become unresponsive is a damaged component. This could be from water damage, a drop, or any other type of physical damage.

If a component is damaged, it can cause the device to malfunction and become unresponsive.

Usually, software-related problems in new devices can be fixed at home by following the applicable solutions.

If your new iPhone 11 gets stuck on the white Apple logo, there are a few possible solutions that you can try.

Here is a list of quick, generic fixes you can try before we go more in depth about how to get your iPhone 11 from being stuck on the Apple logo:

First, ensure your device is fully charged and connected to a power source. If it is, try force-restarting your iPhone by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.

If that doesn’t work, you can try restoring your device from a backup or updating to the latest version of iOS. In the event that none of these solutions work, you may need to take your device to an Apple store for assistance.

Diagnosing an iPhone 11 Stuck on the Apple Logo

Several methods can be used to fix an iPhone system crash. Try applying these solutions before going to the Apple Genius bar.

Force Reset on Your iPhone 11

A forced reset is a hard reboot of an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. This is useful if your device is frozen and you can’t restart it normally. To force reset your device, hold down the Home and Power buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

When you reset all settings on your iPhone, it restores all the default settings to your device. This includes your wallpaper, ringtones, and other preferences that you might have changed. It also resets any system configurations that might have caused your iPhone to crash or get stuck.

If you’re having trouble with your iPhone, resetting all settings is a good troubleshooting step to try first.

This is a great alternative choice because a reset does not affect any saved files on your iPhone. This is also why this is our first recommendation in this how-to guide.

    Try these steps:

    1. Tap Settings

    2. Select General

    3. Scroll down and tap Reset

    4. Tap Reset all settings

    5. Enter your passcode

    6. Confirm by tapping Reset all settings again

Did it clear the Apple logo? Great! If not, let’s keep moving along and try these other options.

    Update iOS and Apps

Updating iPhone apps and iOS is important because it can fix security vulnerabilities and bugs and add new features. For example, in iOS 11.2.5, an update to the operating system, a vulnerability was fixed that allowed attackers to remotely access devices through the Messages app.

Additionally, updates often include refreshed designs and new features that can improve the user experience.

iOS is a mobile operating system created and developed by Apple Inc. It is distributed exclusively for Apple hardware. The operating system presently powers many of the company’s mobile devices, including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

    Fun fact:

iOS was originally released on June 29, 2007, as version 1.0 of iPhone OS. At the time, Apple did not reveal the source code of its mobile operating system until the release of iOS 4 in 2010. Version 7 of iOS was released on September 18, 2013.

The most recent stable release, iOS 11, was released on September 19, 2017. A beta version of iOS 11 was released on June 26, 2017.

How to Update iOS on iPhone:

There are two ways to update the iOS on your iPhone: through iTunes or directly on the device itself.

If you update through iTunes, you must connect your iPhone to your computer and open up iTunes. Then, go to your iPhone’s “Summary” tab and click “Check for Update.” Once the update appears, click “Download and Install” and enter your password if prompted.

Go to Settings > General > Software Update if you update directly on the device. Your iPhone will then check for updates and prompt you to install them.

    How to Update iPhone Apps:

Updating iPhone apps is relatively simple. Open the App Store, tap the Updates tab, and then tap the Update button next to the app you want to update. If the update includes new features, you’ll see an Overview screen that tells you what’s new.

If the update includes bug fixes or other improvements, you’ll see a changelog that lists those changes.

    Delete Suspicious Apps

It is important to delete suspicious iPhone apps because they may contain malware that can compromise the security of your device and personal data. Malicious apps can track your location, access your contacts, and even steal your passwords and financial information.

Therefore, it is important to be vigilant about what apps you install on your iPhone and to delete any that seem suspicious or questionable.

Restore Your iPhone 11 in iTunes Using Recovery Mode

Typically, a recovery mode restore is necessary when you have a major iOS error that wasn’t fixed by a simple factory reset.

If you can’t update or restore your iPhone using iOS Recovery Mode, you can try restoring it using iTunes.

Restoring a device through iTunes will repair any damaged system components that may be causing issues with the device. This can resolve many common problems, such as a device that is stuck in a boot loop or otherwise unresponsive.

Unfortunately, this process will erase all of your iPhone’s data, so make sure that you’ve backed up your device before continuing.

To put your iPhone into recovery mode, follow these steps:

    1. Connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes.

    2. While your iPhone is connected, force restart it:

Press and hold the Power button on an iPhone 8 or earlier until the “Connect to iTunes” screen appears.

On an iPhone X or later, press and hold both the Side button and the Volume button until the “Connect to iTunes” screen appears.

    3. When you see the option to Restore or Update, choose Restore.

    4. iTunes will download software for your iPhone. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your iPhone will exit recovery mode, and you’ll need to repeat these steps.

    5. Wait for the process to finish, then set up your iPhone as new.

When restoring your iPhone, it’s important not to disconnect it until the process is finished. If you force restart your phone before the restore is complete, you may end up in recovery mode. The system restore will finish eventually, but you’ll have to use iTunes to exit recovery mode.

Restore Your iPhone 11 in iTunes DFU Mode

To restore your iPhone 11 in iTunes via DFU mode, you must first put your device into DFU mode.

This mode allows you to communicate with iTunes even though the bootloader is inactive. This can be useful if you need to troubleshoot your device or if you want to downgrade to a previous version of iOS.

When using this method to fix a corrupt iOS system, it is important to know that it will cause permanent data loss. This means that any files or data that are not backed up will be permanently deleted. Be sure to back up your iPhone files before attempting DFU mode.

To use the new features in macOS Catalina, you will need a computer with the latest version of iTunes or the Finder app.

To enter DFU mode, connect your device to your computer and then turn it off. Once it is off, hold down the power and home buttons simultaneously for ten seconds. After ten seconds, release the power button but continue to hold down the home button. If done correctly, your device’s screen should remain black—this means that it has entered DFU mode.

Once in DFU mode, you can use iTunes to restore your device to a previous iOS version or troubleshoot any issues you may have.

After you successfully restore your iPhone 11, you can exit DFU mode by restarting your device.

To restore iOS through iTunes, connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes. Click on the Device tab and select your iPhone. Under Summary, click on Restore. A confirmation window will pop up. Click Restore again to confirm. iTunes will begin restoring your iPhone to its latest backup or factory settings if there is no recent backup.

    Use Third-Party Repair/Recovery Tools

There are several different types of third-party iOS repair and recovery tools available. Some popular options include iMyFone Fixppo, Dr.Fone, and Tenorshare ReiBoot. These tools can fix various issues with your iOS device, such as a black screen, a boot loop, or even data loss.

iMyFone Fixppo is one of the most popular third-party iOS repair tools available. It is compatible with all versions of iOS and can be used to fix various issues. Dr.Fone is another popular option that is compatible with all versions of iOS and offers various features, such as the ability to backup and restore your data.

Tenorshare ReiBoot is a great option for those who are looking for an easy way to fix their iOS device. It is compatible with all iOS versions and offers various features, such as the ability to enter and exit recovery mode with just one click.

When your iPhone has a problem, like being stuck on the Apple logo, you can connect it to a compatible computer and use special software to repair and restore it. This software is usually available for free online.

Once you have downloaded the software, connect your iPhone to the computer using the Lightning cable or USB cable that came with it. The software should detect your iPhone and provide onscreen instructions for repairing and restoring your device.

Typically, these softwares are very user-friendly and easy to navigate and use.

What If None of those Solutions Helped?

iPhone users who experience major system errors that cause their phones to get stuck on any screen can usually rectify the issue by following the aforementioned solutions unless hardware damage is present.

Lastly, you could face the unfortunate event of having to escalate the problem to your device carrier, here are some additional details. When you contact your carrier, they may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or escalate the issue to AppleCare. If you have AppleCare+, they may be able to help you schedule a repair or replacement.

Otherwise, they may direct you to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider.

Hardware damage can still exist even if a device is new. This is because manufacturing defects can occur, leading to hardware damage. Additionally, even if a device is handled carefully, accidents can happen that can cause hardware damage. For example, dropping a device can break internal components, causing it to malfunction.
